Jeremy Williams Named Stitch Central Cougar of the Week

Jeremy Williams was chosen as Columbus State University’s Stitch Central Cougar of the Week for the week ending on April 1.
Williams had a good showing at the Emory Classic winning two events while taking second in another. In the 200-meter dash, Williams set a new career best time crossing the line in 22.17 seconds. The junior finished in second place in the 400-meter dash with a time of 48.90 seconds.
The Waynesboro, GA native along with Kris Maragh, Joshua Tolbert and Gerald Chichester broke Columbus State’s record in the 4x100-meter relay finishing the event in 41.90 seconds while winning the event.
