Immelman Named to Golf Digest List of Top 20 Instructors Under the Age of 40

Columbus, GA - Columbus State University golf
coach Mark Immelman has added another feather to his cap. This time
Immelman has been recognized by one of the top golf publications as
an outstanding instructor. Immelman was named to the Golf
Digest list of The Top 20 Golf Instructors Under 40 and
also is listed among the top instructors in the state of Georgia by
the publication. The list was a part of the magazine's article
identifying the game's top 50 Golf Teachers.
Immelman, the 2009 Golf Coaches Association Division II National
Coach of the Year, is 39 years old. In addition to his success at
the helm of the CSU program, he has developed an extensive
clientele at his Mark Immelman Golf Instruction school at Bull
Creek Golf Course in Columbus. Immelman has clients from high
handicappers all the way through the professional ranks and they
come from near and far to receive instruction from the PGA Master
Professional.
Immelman has just finished his eighth season at CSU and had his
Cougars ranked number one in the nation for the last half of the
2009 season before finishing third at the NCAA Division II
