Cougars and Colby Rasmus to Host Free Youth Clinic

The Columbus State Baseball team and coaches will team with Major League Baseball Player, Colby Rasmus, to work a free youth baseball clinic hosted by Russell County Dixie Youth Baseball. The clinic will be from 1:00pm-3:30pm on Saturday, January 30th at the Russell County Dixie Youth Sports Complex.

Colby Rasmus, a rookie outfielder with the St. Louis Cardinals in '09, will be on hand to help instruct at the clinic. Rasmus grew up in Phenix City and attended Russell County High School where he was a 1st round draft pick in June of 2005 by the Cardinals. He became a starter in the outfield last season and had a very impressive rookie year.
