Meshack Koyiaki Garners Peach Belt Conference Runner of the Week Honors

Meshack Koyiaki was named the Peach Belt Conference Runner of the Week, announced by the conference office.

Koyiaki continued his unprecedented tear through the 2010 season as he won his fourth straight race and second straight in a field with over 200 runners.  The senior won the Royal Cross Country Challenge in a time of 24:12, winning once again in a sprint to the finish three seconds ahead of Shorter's Paul Chelimo and five in front of Queen's Michael Crouch.  Koyiaki has won every race he has started in 2010.

The senior has won the weekly award each week he has competed in a race this season, totaling four so far in 2010.
