Taylor is entering her first year of playing at Columbus State.

High School: Graduated Savannah Christian Preparatory School in Savannah, Georgia… Played four years under Coach Mike Meador…Helped lead the Raiders to four straight Region championships and Elite Eight appearances during her tenure…Lettered all four years of high school…selected All-Coastal Empire Team twice, three time All-State, three time Region 3A “East” All-Region, SCP Most Valuable Player twice, Region 3A “East” Pitcher of the Year, Georgia Dugout Club Elite 80 member, Georgia Dugout Club 2010 All-Star team, Selected Savannah’s Top Softball Athlete by “Greater Savannah Athletic Hall of Fame.”

Personal: Daughter of Tom and Denise Turner…Views her father as her hero and most influential person in her life because he has taught her important life lessons…her favorite movie is Sweet Home Alabama…Looks at Jennie Finch for her sports role model…Says Cat Osterman is her favorite professional Athlete…Would love to some day go scuba diving…Chose to become a Cougar because of Columbus State’s great academics, superb athletics, and fantastic facilities.
