Columbus State Women’s Soccer Earns NSCAA Team Academic Award

Kansas City, KS – The Columbus State women's soccer team was honored by the National Soccer Coaches Association of America with a Team Academic Award.  Teams must accumulate a team grade point average of at least 3.0 to receive this distinction.

CSU boasted a GPA of 3.43, the second highest mark they have ever had as a team.  They also sported the highest GPA in the Peach Belt Conference, which had three other teams garner the Team Award.  Those schools include Armstrong Atlantic State, Flagler and Lander.  Francis Marion also received the award but is a Division I Independent in women's soccer.

It is the sixth straight year that Columbus State has earned the Team Academic Award.
