Shan Crawford Finishes Fifth in 200 Meter Dash
Turlock, CA – Shan Crawford earned her second career All-American honor as she finished in fifth place at the NCAA Division II Outdoor Track & Field Championships Saturday night at the Al Brenda Track at Warrior Stadium in Turlock, California.
Crawford improved on her time in the prelims by 0.02 seconds running a 23.94 in the 200 meter dash. With her fifth place finish, she earned All-American status in the event for the first time. She was also an All-American a year ago in the 100 meter dash.
Shannon Gagne of New Haven won the event in a photo finish over Indira Spence (23.47) of Adams State with a time of 23.43. Kelly Fogarty (23.55) of UC San Diego, Judith Riley (23.76) of Lincoln (MO) and Crawford rounded out the top five.
