Game Two
Â
After stranding the bases loaded in the first, Columbus State jumped on the board in the second behind a leadoff blast from
Savanna Turvy.
Â
Calli Star and Perdue each had RBI doubles in the third as the Lady Cougars added on, and Turvy struck again with a two-run shot for her first career multi-homer game.
Â
Pitching took care of the rest of the game for the Lady Cougars, as
Harley Dawson made it consecutive complete games.
Â
Dawson (4-1) allowed just an unearned run on four hits while striking out a season-high nine.
