COLUMBUS - The Columbus State University women's basketball team will take the court at the Frank G. Lumpkin Jr. Center for the first time in the 2021-22 season on Wednesday when Albany State University visits Columbus. Tipoff is at 5:30 p.m.

• CSU recorded two blowout victories in the season-opening Southeast Regional Challenge in Newberry, S.C. The Lady Cougars knocked off Newberry College by 17 (56-39) before registering a 30-point win over Mars Hill University (95-65)
• Columbus State has used a balanced attack with four players averaging at least 9.5 ppg (Imani Arnold 16.5 ppg, Olonna Rawls 14.5 ppg, Chrisalyn Boston 12.0 ppg & Amber Abusbeih 9.5 ppg)
