Lady Cougars Head to Georgia College

Saturday will be CSU's final road game of the 2020-21 season.

COLUMBUS - The Columbus State University women's basketball team will make one final road trip during the 2020-21 season on Saturday, Feb. 27 as the team heads to Milledgeville, Ga. for a conference matchup against Georgia College.

The Lady Cougars (2-5, 2-5 PBC) are looking to bounce back from a last-second loss to Georgia Southwestern Wednesday night inside the Frank G. Lumpkin Jr. Center.

GC Athletics has announced limited seating for Bobcat families and students, but no visiting spectators will be allowed. Fans can watch the game live on the PBC Sports Network and follow live statistics through CSUCougars.com. 88.5 WCUG will not carry the game due to GC's visiting radio policy. 

SCHEDULE UPDATE
The Lady Cougars will play one more game in the Lumpkin Center as the Peach Belt Conference announced a makeup date with Augusta University. Tipoff will take place on Monday, March 1 at 5:30 p.m.  

Inside the Series

• Columbus State and Georgia College have been meeting on an annual basis since the PBC began sponsoring women's basketball for the 1990-91 season. 

• Saturday's meeting will be the 66th all-time meeting, with the Lady Cougars holding a 37-28 advantage.

• Of late, Columbus State has dominated the series, including winning a pair of games last season over the Bobcats. CSU has won 9 of the past 10 meetings.
