• Columbus State is in search of its first win since Jan. 16 on Saturday. The Lady Cougars lost their fourth straight game on Wednesday after a last-second shot by Georgia Southwestern lifted the Hurricanes to a 74-73 victory.
• The Lady Cougar offense continues to put up points since returning from their prolonged break. CSU is averaging over 70 points over the last three games, including scoring a season-high 80 against Young Harris College on Feb. 20.
• Overall this year, Columbus State ranks fourth in the league in scoring (68.7 ppg) and has scored over 70 points in four of its seven games.
• It was just another typical night for senior Chrisalyn Boston versus Georgia Southwestern. Boston rejected five shots in the first quarter before finishing the night as one of three players in the PBC to collect six blocks in a game this season. She also set a career-high with 18 rebounds to go along with 10 points. The Winston-Salem, N.C. native has five double-doubles this season.
• Freshman Emilia Tenbrock led CSU Wednesday night with 18 points, including three 3-pointers. The 6-foot guard didn't leave the court as she put up her best scoring performance since the season opener. She is averaging 13.3 points on the year and is shooting over 50 percent from the floor (51.6%).
• Olanna Rawls became the first Lady Cougar to reach the 100-point mark this season. The freshman scored 12 against the Hurricanes and now has posted four double figure scoring performances in her first seven collegiate games. She is 10th in the PBC in scoring (14.3 ppg).
•In her first collegiate start on Wednesday, Amber Abusbeih scored a season-high 17 points while dishing out four assists. Over the last four games, the guard is averaging 13 points, going over 10 in each game.
