Young Harris, Ga. - The Columbus State University women's basketball team grabbed a 66-48 road win over Young Harris College on Wednesday night. The Lady Cougars are now 9-5 (2-2 PBC), while the Mountain Lions fell to 8-5 (1-4 PBC).
Chrisalyn Boston and
Amber Abusbeih were the team leaders Wednesday night, both scoring 18 points. Boston was 8-for-11 from the field and added eight rebounds, while Abusbeih was four-for-four from the free-throw line and added five rebounds and three steals.
Olonna Rawls and
Imani Arnold were threats on both sides of the ball. Rawls scored 13 points, grabbed five rebounds and posted three steals, while Arnold tallied nine rebounds, grabbed four steals and netted 11 points.
Columbus State will be back on the road on Saturday, Jan. 15, in another Peach Belt Conference matchup against Augusta University at 1:30 p.m.
