HUNTSVILLE, Ala. - The Columbus State University men's and women's cross country teams prepare for the 2023 UAH Chargers Invitational at John Hunt Cross Country Park, hosted by the University of Alabama Huntsville.

The meet will take place on October 7th, with the collegiate men's 8k starting at 8 a.m. CST/9 a.m. EST and the collegiate women's race starting at 8:50 a.m. CST/9:50 a.m. EST. 

October 22, 2022 was the last time the Columbus State cross country teams competed at John Hunt Park. The men's team placed 27th out of 49 teams and was led by Blake Lewis (25:56.4), who finished 184th in the field of 486 competitors. The Lady Cougars finished 31st out of 45 teams and was led by Shanya Washington (19:29.6), who finished 160th in the field of 400 competitors.
