WINGATE, N.C. - The Columbus State University women's basketball team will be back in action after an 11-day game break, traveling to Wingate University on Wednesday, Nov. 29 for a nonconference match up at 5 p.m.
The Lady Cougars post a 2-3 record against Wingate, with the latest loss occurring on March 9, 2018, losing 79-90 in overtime. All of the match ups against the Bulldogs have been neutral site games.
ABOUT WINGATE
- The Bulldogs are 4-2 overall and post a one-game win streak, beating UVA Wise 76-74 on Nov. 25
- Emily Hege and Hannah Clark both average 18 points per game and over a .500 three-point percentage
- Defensively, Trinity Breedlove averages 5.5 rebounds per game
ABOUT COLUMBUS STATE
- CSU posts a 2-2 record, recently dropping games to Catawba and Carson-Newman in the GSW Classic
- Letiya Reeves leads the Lady Cougars with an 18.8 scoring average. Olonna Rawls posts a 13.5 average and Amber Abusbeih is averaging 12 points per game
- Reeves and Rawls also lead the team in rebounds, averaging 8.5 rebounds per game
