SAINT LEO, Fla. - The Columbus State University women's basketball team will hit the road this weekend to play in the Saint Leo Holiday Classic tournament hosted by Saint Leo University. The Lady Cougars will tip off the weekend against D'Youville University on Friday at 2:30 p.m. and will complete the tournament playing Mercy College on Saturday at 1 p.m.

This will be the first time that Columbus State matches up against D'Youville and Mercy, as both teams are traveling south from New York. DYU and MC are both in the East Coast Conference (ECC).
SCOUTING D'YOUVILLE
- The Saints post a 3-6 record and are 2-1 in the ECC
- Anna Jankovic leads DYU offensively, averaging 12.9 points per game and is shooting over .400 on the field and at three-point range
- She also is strong on defense, averaging 8.0 rebounds per game
- Stella Mollica averages 8.3 points per game and Brianne Moxley is right behind her with 7.3
SCOUTING MERCY
- The Mavericks are 7-3 overall and post a 1-2 ECC record
- Katie Wall averages 21.1 points per game and also leads the team in assists with 37
- Angelina Barrera leads MC in rebounds with a 7.6 average
- Jaclyn Stanavich averages 13.1 points per game and her and Wall each average 6.7 rebounds per game
ABOUT COLUMBUS STATE
- After Tuesday nights loss to Tuskegee, the Lady Cougars are 2-4 and are looking to break the four-game losing streak
- Letiya Reeves leads CSU with a 17.0 scoring average and is second on the team in rebounds with a 7.5 average
- In just four games played, Olonna Rawls is averaging 10.8 points per game and leads the Lady Cougars in rebounds with 8.0 per game
- Amber Abusbeih also is averaging in the double-digits in scoring with 10.2
