COLUMBUS - The Columbus State University men's and women's cross country teams are set to compete in the 11th Annual UNG Invitational on Friday, Sept. 15 in Gainesville, Ga. The meet is hosted by the University of North Georgia at UNG Gainesville's campus.
The Cougar cross country teams will get an early glimpse at the PBC conference championship and NCAA Southeast Regional course Friday night. The men's 8k begins at 5:45 p.m. with the women's 5k to follow at 6:30 p.m. In addition to the Cougars and host North Georgia, the field is currently expected to include Agnes Scott, Brenau, Carson-Newman, Catawba, Erskine, Georgia Tech, Piedmont, Reinhardt and Walters State Community College.
