COLUMBUS - To start the new year, the Columbus State University men's and women's basketball teams will host Peach Belt Conference opponent Georgia College & State University for a doubleheader on Wednesday, Jan. 3. The women will tip off at 5:30 p.m. and the men will follow at 7:30 p.m. inside the Frank G. Lumpkin, Jr. Center.
WOMEN
The Lady Cougars hold a 30-16 record against GCSU, winning the last eight games. At home, CSU posts a 19-5 record, with the latest victory coming on Feb. 25, 2023, with a score of 82-78.

- The Bobcats post a 6-4 record and are 3-2 on the road
- Hannah Cail leads the offense, averaging 14.3 points per game
- On the boards, Jada Warren averages 8.4 rebounds per game
