Women’s Cross Country Set for PBC Championship on Saturday Morning

CSU runs in Oakwood starting at 10:15 a.m.

COLUMBUS – The Columbus State University Women's Cross Country team is set to compete in the 2024 Peach Belt Conference Championship on Saturday morning.

The Lady Cougars are set for a 10:15 a.m. ET start for the 6k race, which is being held in Oakwood, Ga. on the campus of University of North Georgia's Gainesville Campus.

Columbus State heads to the PBC Championship after a 30th place finish at the UAH Chargers Cross Country Invite. A season ago, the Lady Cougars finished fifth out of 10 teams in the field at the PBC Championship.

This season, the Lady Cougars aim for strong performances on Saturday as the NCAA Southeast Regional will be around the corner on November 9 in Spartanburg, S.C.
