COLUMBUS – The Columbus State University Women's Cross Country team returns to competition on Friday morning at the Georgia Tech Invitational after a couple of weeks away from action.
The Lady Cougars are set for an 9:20 a.m. ET start time for the 6K race which is set to take place after the men's 8K at Bouckaert Farm in Fairburn, Ga. CSU will be one of 23 schools in the field on Friday morning.
Columbus State returns to competition after previously running at the UNG Invitational back on Sept. 13, where the Lady Cougars finished eighth out of 11 teams. Layla Albright led CSU with a new personal best time to finish 14th in the field.
