AUGUSTA, Ga. - The Peach Belt Conference tabbed Nakhia Montgomery the PBC Women's Track Athlete of the Week on Monday, March 25.

Montgomery ran the fastest 100m in the Peach Belt this season with a 12.07 at the Emory Thrills in the Hills over the weekend. The sophomore from Blakely, Ga., ran a 12.11 in the preliminary heat, then turned in a personal best 12.07 in the final, finishing third in a field that started with 18 runners. Montgomery also holds the eighth-fastest 200 time in the PBC and ran the opening leg of the 4x100 relay team that holds the third-fastest time in the conference.

The CSU track & field team will compete in the Morehouse Relays this weekend hosted by Morehouse College.
