COLUMBUS – The Columbus State University Women's Cross Country team is set to continue the 2024 campaign with a trip to the 12th Annual UNG XC Invitational hosted by North Georgia.
Friday's meet will also serve as the 2024 Peach Belt Conference Championship preview meet. The Lady Cougars will get an early glimpse at the home course for the PBC Championship as well as the NCAA Division II Southeast Regionals in Gainesville, Ga. on Friday evening.
Last season, the Lady Cougars finished in fifth as a team and were led by Alesia Johnson who finished in 18th place individually with a time of 19:18.9. Columbus State is coming off a fifth-place finish at the GMC Brickyard Invitational. Layla Albright led the way in 11th individually.
CSU is set to run the 5K race at 6:30 p.m. ET, immediately following the men's 8K. Meet information can be found here as well.
Results will be produced by Runners Fit Raceworks and will be loaded to TFRRS immediately following the completion of both races.
