AUGUSTA, Ga. – The Peach Belt Conference has announced that Columbus State University softball player
Holly Lynn has been named PBC Softball Player of the Week for the week of Feb. 17-23.
The junior from LaGrange, Georgia recorded a .636 batting average while slugging 2.000 to help the Lady Cougars to a 4-0 week. She tallied five home runs and nine RBIs, recording one homer in each of the four contests with two in game two versus Shorter (Ga.).
In addition, she finished the week with a total of seven hits and five runs and did not strike out in 11 at-bats.
She is tied for second in the league with a .500 batting average this season and leads with a 1.318 slugging percentage.
Lynn secures her first career weekly honor and the third consecutive weekly honor for CSU softball this season.
