AUGUSTA, Ga. - Columbus State University women's track & field athlete Nakhia Montgomery was named Peach Belt Conference Track Athlete of the Week for her performance at the Alice Coachman Invite on Saturday.

The junior from Blakely, Georgia garnered her second weekly honor of the season after racing to fourth in the 100-meter dash and fifth in the 200.

She has held the fastest time in the PBC in both events once this season but currently sits tied for first in the 100m with her time of 12.13s on Saturday followed by sixth in the PBC with the mark of 25.35s in the 200m.

Monday's honor is the second of the season and third in her career at CSU.
