CSU Athletics posts a 3.19 GPA for the Spring Semester

COLUMBUS – Columbus State University Athletics has released the Spring 2025 academic results, and the CSU athletic teams posted a department-wide 3.19 grade-point average with over 67 percent of student-athletes achieving a 3.0 GPA or higher.
 
CSU improved on one of the best semesters in school history in the fall, propelling from a 3.17 GPA to a 3.19 GPA. As an athletic department, 195 student-athletes earned a 3.0 GPA or better with 54 student-athletes achieving a 4.0.
 
A total of nine programs achieved a 3.0 or greater with four programs producing above a 3.5 team GPA for the term. Women's tennis led the way with a 3.87 GPA with women's soccer following with a team GPA of 3.67 and a department-leading 15 student-athletes with 4.0s. Men's tennis and softball produced a 3.54 GPA to round out the top four.
 
For the 2024-25 academic year, CSU athletics produced a department-wide 3.18 GPA.
