LOUISVILLE, Ky. — Columbus State University sophomore outfielder
Aubree Ussery has been named to the NFCA All-Region Southeast Second Team following a standout season for the Cougars.
The awards honor softball student-athletes from the Association's eight regions with first and second-team selections. NFCA member head coaches from each respective region nominated their student-athletes and voted for the teams. All the honorees are now eligible for selection to the 2026 NFCA Division II All-America squads.
Ussery was one of Columbus State's top offensive leaders throughout the season, starting in 54 games and posting a .385 batting average. She finished the year with a 1.048 OPS, 67 hits, 13 doubles, 10 home runs, 47 RBI's and 110 total bases.
The sophomore also recorded a .632 slugging percentage and a .416 on-base percentage, providing consistent production in the Columbus State lineup.
Ussery was also steady defensively in the outfield, recording 53 putouts and three assists with just one error for a .982 fielding percentage.
Her All-Region selection adds to a strong season for Columbus State softball, which continued its postseason success and remained one of the top programs in the Southeast Region.
