2015-16 (Junior): Played in two events for the Cougars...Broke 80 in all three rounds of the North Georgia Fall Invitational...Also played at the Matlock Collegiate Classic.

2014-15 (Sophomore): Did not compete.

High School: Homeschooled his final two years of high school...Qualified for regionals as an individual.

Personal: Son of Richard and Svetlana Close...Chose Columbus State to play for head coach Mark Immelman...Phil Mickelson is his favorite professional athlete...Enjoys cooking, playing guitar and hanging out with his friends in his spare time...Would love to spend a day with Ben Hogan.
