THE VARSITY CLUB
Calling all former Columbus State University (CSU) student-athletes!
The Varsity Club is an exclusive giving society reserved for Cougar Club members that are also former student-athletes. The goal of the Varsity Club is to connect former athletes and provide special opportunities to be welcomed back to campus and recognized as part of CSU's winning tradition. Once a Cougar, always a Cougar! Gifts of this nature will provide our teams with resources necessary to allow our outstanding student-athletes to compete at the highest level. |
The Cougar Varsity Club was established to preserve and strengthen the bonds developed between student-athletes over the course of their time spent learning and competing at CSU. The value of those heroic moments where the thrill of victory was experienced is priceless. In addition, the depth of the relationships between teammates who worked side-by-side to achieve a common goal as they grew and matured is immeasurable.
Who is a member?
All former student-athletes, men and women, who participated in at least one year of a varsity sport while at CSU are automatically Varsity Club members. Earning a letter in your sport is not a requirement for membership. Former cheerleaders, student managers and trainers are also included as members of the CSU Varsity Club.
How to get involved:
Become an active contributor to the Cougar Club Annual Giving program at any level. Please keep your address and contact information up to date by emailing us. Solicit friends who are former CSU student-athletes to join
Your gift through the Cougar Club allows our coaches and student-athletes to continue a tradition of excellence by supporting:
- Athletics Scholarships
- Travel for Conferences and Tournaments
- Facility Enhancements
- Cougar Athletics Priorities

Members of the Champions Club will be recognized in the following ways:
- 1st opportunity to purchase season tickets
- Invitation to open practices
- Recognition at home games
- Access to purchase Varsity Club gear online (columbusstategear.com)
- e-subscription to AD newsletter
- Invitation to homecoming events
- Gift is tax deductible
