Russell returns for his fourth season of competition forCSU...Finished 17th at the 2008  PBC Championship with an 8Ktime of 29:24...Ran the 8K Auburn Invitational at 27:09.

2007: Finished 8th at the 2007 Cougar Invitational with an 8Ktime of 28:18...Placed 24th at the PBC championship with an 8K timeof 28:41...Covered the 10K course at the NCAA Southeast Regional in36:08.

2006:  Finished the 10K at the NCAARegionals with a time of 35:53 (69th)...Posted an 8K time of 29:21(22nd) at the PBC Championships...Look for continued improvementfrom Russell in 2007.

High School: A graduate of Spalding High inGriffin...Personal best 5K (16:09)...Individual region champion in2005...Region runner-up in both the 1600 & 3200 in 2006..Partof two team region titles.

Personal: Son of Ralph & Ina Jones..."Itwould have been neat to help Noah build his ark"...Lists his dad ashis hero...After graduation, plans are to do some missionary work.
