Columbus State University Athletics

JP van der Walt is entering his second season as a graduate assistant coach for the Columbus State University men's golf program. He returned to CSU after finishing up his playing career as a Cougar in 2009.

During his time as a Cougar, van der Walt took home the individual title at the Rollins Invitational in 2008 and was a member of the 2009 CSU team that finished in third place at the National Championship. He was also selected to the All-Peach Belt Conference team in 2008.

Following his time at Columbus State, he played professionally on the Sunshine Tour in South Africa and other tours across the southeast from 2011-13.

JP graduated from Columbus State in May of 2009 with a Bachelor's degree in Business Administration. He is currently pursuing his Master's of Science in Organizational Leadership following the Human Resource track.
