Anthony McWilliams is entering his ninth season with the Columbus State University track and field program and his third as an Assistant Coach. McWilliams spent his first four seasons as a Volunteer Assistant with the program.
A native of Ft. Benning, Ga., McWilliams was a standout track and field athlete at William H. Spencer High School. He served in the Army for 13 years where he also ran track while stationed in Hawaii for 4 years.
While with the Cougars, McWilliams has helped coach a number of All-American sprinters under the guidance of Coach Evilsizer. His duties also include photography, writing meet recaps, and assisting with recruiting.
McWilliams is a graduate of Columbus State University with a Bachelor of Science Degree in Health and Physical Education.
He is married to Marie McWilliams, and has four children Keyanna, Trevon, Ameleah and Jasmine.
