Darian Gottfried is entering her second season as a Graduate Assistant coach for the softball program at Columbus State University in 2023-24.
Gottfried attended Black Hills State University in Spearfish, S.D. from 2017-2021. During her time at BHSU, she competed on the softball team and was a member of the Student-Athlete Advisory Committee.
Gottfried graduated Magna Cum Laude in December 2021 with a B.S. in physical education, minors in health and coaching, and a certificate in adapted physical education. She received the Major of the Year honor from the Society of Health and Physical Educators (SHAPE America) in 2021.
A native of Bellville, Ohio, she is currently pursuing a masters degree in Physical Education. She currently resides in Columbus, Ga. with her chocolate lab, Kota.
