Tayler Barcomb is in her second season as a graduate assistant coach with the Columbus State University softball program.
Barcomb joins the Lady Cougars after a standout playing career at Coker College in Hartsville, S.C.
Barcomb played four seasons at Coker, including three under former Columbus State assistant coach Travis McCall, amassing a .326 career batting average with 23 home runs and 128 RBIs. As a senior, she posted a .392 average with nine homers and 57 driven in and was named a D2CCA All-American. Barcomb helped the Cobras to a 41-17 record in her final season, Coker's best record in 15 years.
Originally from St. George, S.C., Barcomb graduated from Coker in May of 2017 with her bachelor's degree in biology with a minor in chemistry. She is currently pursuing her master's in public administration following the health services administration track
