Columbus State University Athletics

Jayla Miller is entering her first year as Basketball Operations Coordinator for the Columbus State University women’s basketball team for the 2022-23 season.

Miller coordinated the daily operations at the University of Alabama Men’s basketball team for the last three years of her undergraduate years 2015-2018. Miller served as a manager for the UA Men’s Basketball Team. In this position, she had the valuable opportunity to work in a variety of areas including assisting in the video room, taking statistics during practices and games, and helping with on-court activities. 

Miller comes from a basketball background, as she spent four years (2010-14) working closely with different AAU teams and the Military Basketball Association.  

 Miller received her Bachelor’s degree in Public Health, with a focus on Health Professions from the University of Alabama, and is now pursuing her Master’s degree in Exercise Science.
