Kaihla Carter

Kaihla Carter is entering her first year as a graduate assistant for the Columbus State University women’s basketball team for the 2020-21 season.

Carter is no stranger to Columbus State as she was a crucial member of the women’s basketball team from 2017-20. After transferring from Alabama State, she made an instant impact as a sophomore and turned into one of the top point guards and 3-point shooters in the Peach Belt Conference. Carter played in 84 games at CSU, scoring over 480 career points and dishing out 195 assists. Carter played in one NCAA tournament in 2018 while CSU averaged 19 wins during her three seasons.

Carter received her bachelor’s degree in communication, with a focus in film production, and is now pursuing her master’s degree in public administration: criminal justice.
