Carl Little is in his fourth season with the Columbus State University men's basketball program and his second as an Assistant Men’s Basketball Coach. Little spent his first two seasons as Volunteer Assistant with the program.
A native of Virginia Beach, Va., Little is currently a Captain in the US Army and serves as a Company Commander. He is also the Head Coach for the All Army Men’s Basketball team. Prior to joining the staff, Little was the Head Coach for the Fort Benning Men’s Basketball team and guided them to a Southeastern Military Athletic Conference Tournament Championship in 2013.
While with the Cougars, Little has helped guide the team to the 2015-16 Peach Belt Conference regular season title and back-to-back NCAA Tournament appearances. His duties include post player development, assisting with scouting and recruiting.
Little is a graduate of Liberty University with a Bachelor of Science Degree in Education. He played his collegiate basketball at Virginia State University prior to joining the military. Little also played professionally in Italy and Japan. Little is a member of Kappa Alpha Psi Fraternity Inc.
He is married to Danesha Little, and they have two children Jordan and Ariana.
