Jeri Stewart enters her second season as an assistant coach for the Columbus State men's and women's tennis programs in 2026-27.
In her first season with the Cougars, Stewart helped guide the men's team to a 20-3 overall record and a Peach Belt Conference regular-season championship. Columbus State advanced to the NCAA Tournament during the 2025-26 campaign.
On the women's side, Stewart helped lead the Lady Cougars to a 21-5 overall record and a perfect 7-0 mark in Peach Belt Conference play. Columbus State captured both the Peach Belt Conference regular-season and tournament championships, won the NCAA Southeast Regional title and advanced to the second round of the NCAA Division II Tournament.
Stewart played a key role in the development of multiple conference and regional award winners, including Peach Belt Conference Players of the Year Thomas Cardona and Nikoline Gullacksen, as well as Peach Belt Conference Freshman of the Year Hugo Didier. Cardona and Gullacksen were named ITA Southeast Senior Players of the Year, while Hugo Didier and Claudia De Luca earned ITA Southeast Rookie of the Year honors.
Following the 2025-26 season, Stewart was recognized as the ITA Southeast Region Men's Assistant Coach of the Year and was later named the ITA Men's Assistant Coach of the Year.
Stewart joined the Columbus State coaching staff in 2025 and assists with all aspects of the men's and women's tennis programs, including player development, recruiting and match preparation.
