Fabio Diniz is in his first season as a graduate assistant coach with the Columbus State women's volleyball program in 2016-17.
Diniz joins the Lady Cougar program after a decorated collegiate career at Pfeiffer University. Diniz was a four-time All-Conference Carolinas selection, starting all four years at middle blocker for the Falcons. Diniz totaled nearly 800 kills during his career and posted a .422 hitting percentage. He led all of Division II in 2015 with a .517 hitting percentage.
Diniz wrapped up his time with the Falcons as the program's all-time leader in points, blocks and aces.
Hailing from Belo Horizonte, Brazil, Diniz gained coaching experience as an assistant coach at the Minas Tenis Clube in Brazil.
Diniz graduated from Pfeiffer in 2016 with his Bachelor's degree in Business Management and Leadership.
