Laura Ann O'Sullivan

Laura Ann O’Sullivan is in her third season with the Columbus State University volleyball program.
 
O’Sullivan came to Columbus State from Georgia Regents University, where she served as a graduate assistant coach for the Jaguars in 2012-13.
 
O’Sullivan played for Casey Cornett in 2008 when she was an assistant coach at High Point University, and the coach/player duo helped lead the team to the conference championship. She transferred to Mars Hill College where she was a three-time starting outside and middle hitter. At Mars Hill, O’Sullivan led the SAC Conference in service aces in 2009 and was nationally ranked in service aces and blocks each season.
 
O’Sullivan’s coaching experience extends outside of the college level. In 2015, O’Sullivan joined the Tsunami Volleyball Club in Columbus. She was also the director of Magnum-Augusta in 2012-13 where she oversaw practices, team travel, equipment and position practices. She also coached for Biltmore Volleyball Academy in Asheville from 2009-12 and has worked camps at Carson-Newman College, Davidson College and Georgia Regents.
 
O’Sullivan earned a B.S. in Recreation and Sports Management and a minor in Business Administration and Coaching from Mars Hill in 2012. She graduated with her Master’s Degree in Organizational and Servant Leadership in December of 2014 and is married to Sean O’Sullivan.
