Sydney Yeomans joined the Columbus State University volleyball staff in August 2013 as a graduate assistant coach.
Yeomans duties include scouting, defensive breakdown, player and alumni development, community service and statistics.
Prior to CSU, Yeomans was a three-year starting libero for Brevard College. In her senior season, she ranked fifth in the Southern Atlantic Conference for digs and tied the BC record for most digs in a four-set match. For her accomplishments, Yeomans was named the team’s Defensive MVP.
At the club level, Yeomans has coached at multiple places including the A-5 Club of Atlanta as well as at TVC and Xcell clubs. In 2015, Yeomans joined the Tsunami Volleyball Club in Columbus, heading up the 16-year old team as well as assisting with the other age groups.
Yeomans, a native of Ball Ground, Georgia, graduated in May of 2013 from Brevard with a bachelor’s degree in Psychology. She is pursuing a master’s degree in Organizational Leadership with a concentration in Servant Leadership at Columbus State.
