Columbus State University Athletics

Eli Stone joined Columbus State University Athletics as its first Assistant Athletic Director for Revenue Generation in August 2026. He oversees corporate sponsorships, facility rentals, camps and clinics, special events, donor engagement, and the development of new revenue opportunities.

Stone previously served as Assistant Director of the Bears Club and Director of Athletic Operations at Lenoir-Rhyne University, helping generate more than $320,000 through a membership campaign, $54,000 through a spring raffle, and $45,000 through facility rentals. A native of Millers Creek, North Carolina, Stone earned his bachelor’s degree in public relations from Appalachian State University and is expected to complete his master’s degree in leadership from Lenoir-Rhyne in December 2026.
