Laura Harris joined the Columbus State softball coaching staff as a graduate assistant ahead of the 2025-26 season. During her first season on staff, she helped guide the Cougars to a 35-23 overall record and a 20-7 Peach Belt Conference record. Columbus State advanced to the Peach Belt Conference Tournament semifinals and earned a berth in the NCAA Division II Southeast Regional.
