COLUMBUS – After a 5-0 start in non-conference play, the Columbus State University women's basketball team will begin the Peach Belt Conference portion of the schedule on Saturday at Flagler. Tipoff is scheduled for 1:30 p.m. in Saint Augustine, Fla.

The Lady Cougar defense stole the show on Wednesday night in a 66-42 victory over King. CSU allowed just 19 points through the first three quarters.

Columbus State sports the third-ranked scoring offense in the PBC at 76.4 points per game and leads the league allowing just 51.0 per night.

Alexis Carter finished just three blocks shy of a triple-double on Wednesday, going for 10 points, 13 rebounds and seven blocks.
