MIAMI SHORES, Fla. – After a deluge of rain and lightning delay, the match between top-ranked Columbus State University and 12
th-ranked Barry was cancelled. The match was being played at Buccaneer Field in Miami Shores, Fla.
The match was halted for lightning in the 44
th minute of play with the game scoreless. Due to wet field conditions and the impending delay, the decision was made to call the match.
Columbus State will be back in action on Wednesday with the last of its three-match road swing. The Lady Cougars will travel to Cleveland, Tenn. to take on Lee. Kickoff is scheduled for 6 p.m.
