The Lady Cougars eventually took a 16-15 lead, but the Lady Rams didn't go down quietly, jumping back in front 19-16.

Columbus State once again dug deep and rallied back. CSU won six of the next seven points to put them ahead 23-21. Sabrina Rodgers had a big ace for the Lady Cougars while Melissa Murray collected a kill. CSU capped off the set with a Frame kill and an ASU error.

Set three was all Columbus State as the Lady Cougars capped off the sweep. With Columbus State up 6-5, the Lady Cougars extended their lead to 13-5 after a run of seven straight points. CSU ended any hopes of a comeback after winning six straight points to go ahead 19-9.
