COLUMBUS – The Columbus State University women's basketball team will try for its third consecutive win on Tuesday night, as the Lady Cougars take on Francis Marion. Tipoff is scheduled for 5:30 p.m. in Florence, S.C.

Three Lady Cougars scored in double figures as Columbus State (4-2, 2-0 PBC) rolled past UNC Pembroke 99-79 Sunday.
Tatiana Wayne led all scorers with 25 points, while
Machala Raymonville added 24 and
Tatum Jarvis chipped in 20.

Series History
Tuesday's contest will be the 51
st all-time meeting between the two programs. Columbus State holds a 29-21 overall edge, including a pair of victories last season.
Last Meeting
CSU led by 19 at halftime and coasted to a 70-50 victory over Francis Marion in the 2017 Peach Belt Conference Tournament semifinals last March. Eleven different Lady Cougars scored, while CSU limited the Patriots to 27.9 percent shooting.
About Francis Marion
Francis Marion (4-3, 1-1) has had an up-and-down start to the season, but is coming off a 73-57 victory over Georgia Southwestern Sunday.
The Patriots have only played two games inside of 15 points this season, both losses against Wingate and Chowan.
FMU features the top scoring duo in the PBC in Khai Chandler and Shaunice Fulmore at 21.4 and 18.4 points per game, respectively.
Briana Burgins also leads the conference in rebounding at 10.1 per night.
CSU Notes
The Lady Cougars put on a strong shooting display in Sunday's win at UNC Pembroke, knocking down 15 3-pointers.
The 15 makes were the most by CSU in more than 15 years, and were just two shy on the PBC record.
Columbus State has now made double-digit 3-pointers twice in six games this season, after doing so just once over the previous two seasons.
Tatiana Wayne and
Machala Raymonville are each making at least three per game while shooting 48.6 percent and 43.2 percent from outside, respectively.
