COLUMBUS – Down to its final two games, the fifth-ranked Columbus State University women's basketball team will play its final road game of the regular season on Saturday at North Georgia. Tipoff is scheduled for 1:30 p.m. in Dahlonega.

Columbus State (23-1, 16-1 PBC) led the entire way in an 88-78 victory at Auburn Montgomery on Wednesday night.
Ashley Asouzu and
Britteny Tatum each finished with 22 points, while
Gabby Williams added 15 of her own. Asouzu pulled down 16 rebounds as well for her 10
th double-double.

CSU was held to its lowest-scoring output of the season, but it was more than enough as the Lady Cougars took down the Nighthawks 59-46 earlier this month.
Jasmine Herndon led CSU with 14 points. Asouzu finished with 12 and
Tatiana Wayne chipped in 10.

North Georgia (19-7, 11-6) has alternated wins and losses over its last seven games and is coming off a 71-56 victory over Montevallo on Wednesday.

The Nighthawks are third in the PBC West Division and were ranked seventh in the first NCAA Southeast Region poll.

UNG has been strong on its home floor this season, posting a 12-2 record in Dahlonega.

Senior Kelsey Hutchins is part of a five-way tie for the PBC scoring lead entering the weekend at 16.8 points per game. She was held to just four points in the first meeting with Columbus State.
