COLUMBUS – After a 25-1 regular season, the sixth-ranked Columbus State University women's basketball team will open up postseason play on Saturday against USC Aiken in the Peach Belt Conference Tournament quarterfinals. Tipoff is scheduled for 1:30 p.m. in the Lumpkin Center.

Columbus State opened up a 30-3 advantage after the opening quarter on its way to an 81-56 victory Wednesday night against Georgia Southwestern.
Britteny Tatum led all scorers with 22 points.

CSU and USC Aiken will be meeting for the 49
th time in program history on Saturday. The Lady Cougars hold a 29-19 edge in the overall series. The two sides have met seven previous times in the PBC Tournament with CSU winning five times, most recently in an 84-48 runaway victory in the 2015 PBC semifinals.

USC Aiken (14-14) handed the Lady Cougars their only loss of the regular season on January 7 in Aiken, S.C., defeating CSU 78-67.
Alexis Carter finished with 18 points and 16 rebounds, but Columbus State shot just 33.3 percent for the game.
