COLUMBUS – On the heels of back-to-back road victories, the Columbus State University women's basketball team returns home on Saturday to take on UNC Pembroke. Tipoff is scheduled for 1:30 p.m. inside the Lumpkin Center.

UNC Pembroke (4-7, 2-5) snapped a three-game losing streak with a 61-59 victory over Augusta on Wednesday.

The Braves had lost seven of their previous eight games prior to Wednesday's win.

UNCP is one of the lower scoring teams in the Peach Belt at just 64.2 points per game.

Senior Nyla Allen is the only Brave averaging double-digit points, pouring in 13.0 per night.

Columbus State's 15 3-pointers in the December win over UNCP were the most by the Lady Cougars in more than 15 years and two shy of the PBC record.

CSU posted season-highs in field goal percentage, 3-point percentage, free throw percentage and points at UNCP.

The Lady Cougars are sixth in the country in rebounding margin at plus-10.8 and outrebounded the Braves 49-28 last month.

CSU has dominated opponents in the first half of games this season, outscoring the opposition by 90 points through the first two quarters of its 11 contests.
