YOUNG HARRIS, Ga. – The Columbus State University men's basketball team suffered a 102-65 loss at Young Harris on Saturday.
Cam Paulding put together a career-high 10 points to tie for the team lead on Saturday.
John Lambert also scored 10 off the Cougar bench.

Jalen Thomas scored on the opening possession for the Cougars as Columbus State (4-9, 4-6 PBC) led for the opening seven minutes.
Young Harris (5-12, 4-7) moved in front behind back-to-back 3-pointers and pushed its advantage out to nine points at 22-13. The Cougars answered back however, going on a 10-0 run and Lambert put CSU back in front with a 3-pointer.
Columbus State trailed by just three at the four-minute mark, but the Mountain Lions closed out the first half on a 15-4 run and led 45-31 at the break.
YHC kept extending the lead after halftime, quickly moving in front by 20 and pulled away over the final 16 minutes.
CSU shot 33.3 percent (25-of-75) as a team on Saturday and was 6-for-27 from the 3-point line.
Young Harris ended the day at 52.2 percent (36-for-69) and went 10-for-21 (47.6 percent) from 3.
Columbus State is back in action on Monday at home against Georgia College. Tipoff is scheduled for 7:30 p.m. in the Lumpkin Center.
