YOUNG HARRIS, Ga. – The Columbus State University women's tennis team turned in its second straight 9-0 victory on Saturday, downing Young Harris in Peach Belt Conference action.

The Lady Cougars stayed perfect at 6-0 on the season, moving to 2-0 in PBC play.

Columbus State rolled in all nine matches on Saturday, losing just eight games over three doubles matches and winning all six singles contests in straight sets.

Noa Davico and
Beatriz Lopez opened with an 8-3 win at first doubles, with
Marleen Tilgner and
Giorgia Vitale following suit 8-1 at No. 2.
Natalia Kattah Paz and
Luise Sachs made it a sweep with an 8-4 win at the third spot.

Davico played at first singles for the second straight day, and had no trouble in a 6-0, 6-0 victory. Lopez was nearly spotless as well at second singles, taking her match 6-0, 6-1.

Vitale eased to a 6-2, 6-2 win at No. 3, with Tilgner tallying a 6-3, 6-1 win right behind her.

Sachs swept through fifth singles 6-0, 6-0 and Kattah Paz won 6-4, 6-3 at sixth.

Columbus State will be back on the court next Friday for a road trip to Valdosta State.
