COLUMBUS – The Columbus State University softball team had its Sunday games cancelled as inclement weather wiped out day two of the Southern Softball Showdown.
 
The Lady Cougars will open up the home portion of the 2018 schedule on Friday against Albany State. First pitch of the doubleheader is scheduled for 2 p.m. at Cougar Field.
